Welcome to Vicyos Music Pro.
By using this application, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the Application
Vicyos Music Pro is provided for personal use.
You agree to use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Permissions and Media Access
The app requires user permission to access audio files, video files, and image files stored on the device.
Image file access is used specifically to retrieve album artwork (album art) associated with audio files through the system media library (MediaStore / Media Query).
Without permission:
- No audio files, video files, or image files are accessed or displayed
- No data is stored in the local database (sqflite)
- No scanning or indexing of media occurs
Only after permission is granted, the app can access audio files, video files, and image files using system media libraries (Media Query).
This access is used for playback, organization, and displaying album artwork.
The app does not access user personal photos unrelated to media artwork.
3. Internet Usage
The app requires an internet connection to access and stream online radio stations.
Internet usage occurs only when the user activates a radio stream.
- No background streaming occurs without user action
- The app does not collect or transmit personal user data
- Internet is used exclusively to retrieve audio streams
The app may check network status to ensure stable playback.
4. Bluetooth Functionality
The app uses Bluetooth functionality to detect connection and disconnection of audio devices such as wireless headphones.
- This is used to synchronize the in-app volume control with the system audio level
- No Bluetooth data is collected, stored, or transmitted
- No device identifiers or personal information are accessed
5. Features
The app allows users to:
- Play local audio files and video files
- Stream online radio stations (available in Pro version)
- Record radio streams locally (available in Pro version)
- Use Sleep Timer to automatically stop playback (available in Pro version)
- Manage, organize, and browse audio files and video files stored on the device
6. In-App Purchase (Pro Version)
The app offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the Pro version.
- The Pro version unlocks premium features such as radio streaming, radio recording, and Sleep Timer
- This is a one-time purchase (non-subscription)
- All purchases are processed through the platform provider (e.g., Google Play)
- Prices may vary depending on region and are subject to change
- Purchases are tied to the user’s account and may be restored when supported
By purchasing the Pro version, you gain access to all current premium features. Future features may be included or offered separately.
Refunds, if applicable, are handled according to the platform provider’s policies.
7. Device Storage Access (Media Query)
The app reads audio files, video files, and related metadata using system media libraries.
- Access only occurs after user permission
- Content is displayed and organized based on system scanning and user actions
- No file is modified without user interaction
The app does not automatically modify, delete, or hide audio files or video files.
8. Local Database (Offline Storage - sqflite)
The app uses a local offline database (SQLite / sqflite) to store metadata related to audio files and video files.
This database is stored entirely on the device and does not communicate with external servers.
It is used only for offline functionality such as listing and organizing media.
If permission is not granted, no data is stored.
9. Privacy Controls (Blocklist)
The app allows users to hide specific folders or specific audio files and video files using a blocklist feature.
- Items added to the blocklist are hidden from the app interface
- Blocked items are excluded from the local database (sqflite)
- Files are not deleted or modified on the device
When removed from the blocklist:
- Audio files and video files may reappear
- They may be re-indexed based on system media scanning
The blocklist only affects visibility inside the app and does not provide encryption or system-level protection.
10. File Deletion (User-Initiated)
The app allows users to manually delete audio files and video files stored on the device.
- All deletion actions are strictly initiated by the user
- No file is deleted automatically or in the background
- Deletion may be permanent
The user is solely responsible for confirming deletion actions.
11. Recording and Storage Location
The app may allow recording of radio streams (available in Pro version).
When the user starts recording for the first time, a folder named "Vicyos Radio Recordings" is created inside the device's Music directory.
- Created only upon user action
- All recordings (audio files) are stored locally
- No external upload or synchronization
12. Third-Party Content
The app provides access to third-party radio streams.
We do not own or control this content.
- No responsibility for content accuracy or legality
- No control over broadcast material
13. User Responsibility
All actions (playing, recording, deleting, renaming, hiding) are initiated by the user.
The user is solely responsible for any modifications made to audio files and video files.
You agree not to use the app for illegal purposes.
14. Limitation of Liability
The app is provided “as is”.
We are not responsible for:
- Data loss
- Device issues
- Service interruptions
- User actions
- Third-party content
15. Changes to the Service
We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
16. Termination
We may restrict or terminate access in case of misuse.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use means acceptance of updates.
18. Privacy Policy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
